Overview
The mission of The Incubator at Innovation Park is to stimulate economic growth in the capital region of Florida by assisting businesses during their critical start-up phase. Through a customized process each technology-related business will be taken step-by-step through the various stages of creating job growth.
The Incubator at Innovation Park offers a nurturing environment, characterized by "hands-on" technical assistance and an array of services for start-up and emerging companies during the critical first years of development. By coordinating services and encouraging small companies to share resources, innovation and experiences, the Incubator and its network of business and economic development partners can minimize the risk typically plaguing new and emerging companies.
The Incubator at Innovation Park is a public partnership established by the Leon County Research and Development Authority and the FAMU Small Business Development Center. It is a community based support entity for start-up companies developing technology products and services. The goal of the Incubator is to stimulate job growth in the capital region of Florida by growing local companies through a partnership with the city, county, local universities, and businesses.
