Scholarships for the Entrepreneurial Excellence
Program
On April 28, 2011, the Leon County
Research and Development Authority and
the Economic Development Council of
Tallahassee/Leon County (EDC) announced
a formal three year partnership.
The partnership will create jobs, help
promote the engineering an research
industry sector, and support the EDC's
Entrepreneurial Excellence Program.
The Entrepreneurial Excellence Program
is a tuition-based course designed to
assist start-up businesses and
experienced entrepreneurs achieve
success. The Entrepreneurial Excellence
Program will help you navigate through
the vulnerable stages of business
development by providing access to a
team of local business experts,
researchers and specialists who will
help increase your chance of success in
the market.
The Authority is sponsoring scholarships
to the Entrepreneurial Excellence
Program for individuals or companies
currently located on or who wish to be
located on the Innovation Park Campus.
The next
Entrepreneurial
Excellence Program,
hosted
by the Leon County/Tallahassee Economic
Development Council is scheduled January
10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 25, 31, and February
2, 2012, from 6:00-9:00 p.m., at
the Tallahassee Community College's
Advanced Manufacturing Training Center,
located at 3958 W. Pensacola Street, in
Tallahassee.
